The British Council brand and the brand structure are the result of a substantial investment of time, money and effort. It is very important that we protect and sustain them by getting the branding right.

We have tried to make this guidance as clear and simple as possible by the use of examples, but again, if you are not sure about what to do with a particular project or communication then please contact the brand team in the UK.

Design roster:

The British Council has an approved roster of graphic design agencies.  Agencies who are not on this roster can not be commissioned for any design work.  For agency recommendations please contact the brand team.

Image bank:

The British Council’s searchable image bank, the Asset Bank contains over 8,000 images, all of which were shot in and around British Council offices and feature staff and British Council customers. All images in the Asset Bank are downloadable directly from the site in a number of formats and resolutions.  You will need to register to use the Asset Bank at http://assets.britishcouncil.org.  Please note all images must be credited where ever they are reproduced.
