SIGNAGE

Examples of the British Council sign styles are shown below. All signs and fixings should be manufactured to the highest standards. Fixings should be sturdy and vandal-proof and, wherever possible, hidden. All signs should use British Council Sans only, in upper and lower case. Identification signs should use the corporate logo. It is no longer mandatory to use black-base plates. Exterior signage should be in the corporate blue unless specialist materials are being used. For any other colour approval must be agreed prior to production with Tony Bains, Head of Brand and Design.
